Sorry ... not a bunch of help ... either are great ... and both have good customer service. I don't think you'd be disappointed with either.

i agree i think both are really nice...i have a Hudson river and i love it...it's my GOTO quilt for the cold months....
It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold

ummm i like the black on the mamba... just have an affection towards black gear... some guys like camo. i like black and plus, brandon is awesome to deal with. not that the jacks aren't... good luck buddy either way you'll be fine
Their is a quilt comparison chart some where on here I just dont know where. It has the break down of most of the TQ. Id compare the two in regards to priceing, fill power, and how much down is in the quilt. It also depends if you want a sewn in foot box, or omnie tape. I dont know if Brandon gives the open foot box option but something to think about. Both great vendors. The other thing you could do is just wait and which ever one goes on sale first you buy

Got the HRQ. Great piece of kit. I bought it cause it was green,,really. I have the BB, the yeti, Black OES tarp and needed a bit of color. Very warm TQ
