Just got my oes 10x12 in spinn!

All I can say is wow! Got my tarp in spinn with 16 guy out points. Now to decide on ridgeline and guy line. For guy line I was thinking kelty triptease or something reflective. I found here a link for bushcraftnorthwest.com and that is how I want it set up . For the ridge line I'm clueless, the design is going to be for hanging 2 hammocks, so 3 ridge line if we hang in a Y and 4 if we use 4 trees. The idea is (besides stolen) that the lines will have 2 prussics or khelmist (sp?) Loops with toggles on the main line. The main line will have a loop at one side and a stoper knot on the other. This way you wrap the loop of the main line around the tree the place 1 toggle into the loop and adjust, then the other toggle to the tarp D loop and pull the line. any input?

This is all I could manage. Was planning to set the tarp up today for the first time but so-called global warming blessed us with 6 inches of snow.

I'm not quite sure what you are describing for the ridgeline pitch, but the way I pitch mine is to have pieces of cord with a loop in one end - that way I can pass the line around the tree and pass it through the loop. Then, the free end of the line gets attached to the tarp with a figure 9 carabiner. Since I'm using the fig 9 biner, I can move it around and clip to any of the tieouts for use as a ridgeline. Makes it easy to take advantage of the versatility of the tarp.

An alternate pitching option is to clip the loop into my hammock suspension carabiner. Works really well.

This thread has some pictures of my OES 12x10 in a two-hammock pitch, which is roughly the same as it would be if I were using 3 trees.

Your tarp is the one I copied. Figured why reinvent the wheel when you can steal the idea of it

You can always get the Tarp ridgeline from Opie as well as tie outs and since your tarp is made from spinn you won't need the STL, I am using Opies stuff and it works great, and he can custom make it how you want! Prof. Grizz did a vid on Opies STL tarp tie outs you can check that out! Or you could just get a spool of masons twine and rig it up?!
