I have a JRB 10 x 11 tarp and a diy underquilt you could borrow if you'd rather take your time getting your own.
The quilt is good down to about 45 degrees (climashield insulation). It is beginning to fall apart (where's my duct tape!) but ought to be good for one more trip at least.

I'm all for carpooling: I'll be coming from the Sacramento area and could swing by Oakland if you can't find a closer carpool.

I'm in Hayward, I might be able to pick you up on my way home from San Francisco. I just don't know what time I will be off, or if I'll even make the first night. I'll keep you posted.

Oh yeah, when do you guys plan on getting there? I'll be leaving Sacramento around 3 (after I get off work) and heading straight there on Friday, and leaving Sunday at some point. I'm also bringing my ENO Single as a gear hammock, but if someone needs a hammock they could use it for the hang. All they would need is a pad and tarp.

How does one find Gibson Pond? I've never been to this park. I DO now own a basic hammock, and am thinking about doing a bit of the way to the hang location on my mountain bike...

I've never been to Henry Coe before.

    Just ordered an underquilt!

I've been wanting to visit Coe park. I'm sorry I have to miss this one. It would be nice to meet everybody.

Go here. Gibson Pond is in the botom center of the map. Zoom in to find it and the trail from Hunting Hollow Entrance.

June 12 is one of those weekends I had originally planned a Sierra hike with my hiking group. We might be heading for Chain Lakes in Yosemite. I say might because of the snow...

Coe is a neat place but some locations will be tough for you - might end up fairly spread out across the landscape. You could always find some larger oaks.

I have no idea what time I'll be off work. I think it will be easier if I just drove myself instead of someone relying on me for a ride there.

    Just over a week away!
