Single or Double Layer BB for Me?

I am trying to figure out which BB I should order for my size and weight. I am 5'11'' 215lbs. (need to drop back to 200). My initial impression is to pick up a 1.1 dbl or a 1.7 single. I place an emphasis on comfort over a little extra weight so I am leaning towards a 1.1 dbl. However, are the two layers attached in a way that they are not shifting around and bunching up underneath you while you adjust your position? This is my only concern on the 1.1 dbl, well and that I can't get one in olive green. Thanks in advance for the flood of advice that is sure to come my way!

I have the dbl 1.7 and the second layer does not bunch up. The top layer is attached to the lower layer along the entire length of one side, and partially along the other. The partial attachment allows for the insertion of a pad. I move around a lot during sleeping, and I experience no bunching up at all. The top layer stays in place. You would never know that it's a second layer.

Other than a place to hold a CCF pad if you choose to, double layer offers protection from mosquito bites. They can get thru a single layer, but not two

I would go with the 1.1 DL BB ... Just in case you want to put a pad under your feet. That's what I went with ...love it ...

I have no bunching problems with my 1.7 dbl and im 6' 215 (I need to drop 15 pds too). I dont even notice that it is a double layer. So flat so comfy. I like the dbl layer to put my pad in so when I take my feet out of my TQ foot box I dont have an uncomfy pad scratching against my feet. And im not 100% sure but I believe the 1.7 single or double does not protects you from mosquitos only the 1.1 does. I know their is a thread about this somewhere I just cant find it. But in theory this shouldent really matter bc you most likely will have a pad or UQ underneath you any ways.

    I have owned a 1.7 DL (weight was 220+)
lost 30+ lbs and traded out for a 1.1 DL...no difference in lay or feel between the two.
I would recommend the DL over the SL for durability and bugs (I hate and pads and no longer use them, but the DL is better for that too!)

Thanks to everyone for all the advice! I have ordered a WBBB 1.7 dbl. I could probably have gotten away with the 1.1 dbl, but for not much weight penalty I figured I could guarantee the flattest lay, increase durability and have piece of mind in case a larger friend wants to try it out. I was also a little swayed by the prospect of getting it in olive green to match my CrowsNest which I am hoping will be ready soon. Based on everyone's experiences I am sure I will enjoy it. Thanks again!
