    Thanks, but I accidentally sewed in some (closed) safety pins that were holding it together. Live and learn!

    Oh yeah, I forgot the gear hammock/pack cover on my progression list (it was my most recent project.) I followed Just Jeff's instructions, but used my own measurements.

    For my backpack, I looked in Ray Jardine's Beyond Backpacking and at the makegear site listed above...used those as a baseline and designed my own. It's acceptable but not what I want yet...sure gave me some ideas for my next one, though!

    But that makegear page has about 10 backpack plans on it.
