    Cool weather shield

Well, I slept out in the backyard last night in my black bird, the coldest so far has only been 39f. Last night it was supposed to get down to 32f.
So after a late quick setup, I was going to go without my tarp, just for the heck of it.. Then it dawned on me I had this camo top from a turkey- deer blind
my brother in law conned me into buying about ten years ago, I threw the blind out almost immediately but held on to the rain proof top..good move on my behalf!! I threw it over the b.b. ride line, it had shock cord with hooks 2 on each end wrapped them around under the hammock and connected them together, it also had one tie off on each end that I promptly tied to my strap buckles, and voila...a storm shield.. It left about 4 or 5 inches at each end for ventilation, and I had to leave the bug shield zipper open a little for more ventilation, but it actually looked pretty cool!! It went down to 35f. and I was very happy... A little condensation on the netting in the morning but I was dry.
I see good things in the future for this little cover!! Life is good..

I don't think it happened. No pics.
