We had Tom Clark, a fellow poster on the BPL forums, travel out from PA to Phoenix on a business trip last weekend, and a few of us took him out to the Superstition Wilderness for a fun 3 day backpacking adventure. It was a little bit instructional for Tom as we were all avid hammock campers, and we were throwing around a lot of the slang and new techniques that are regularly discussed in these forums. Tom was a heck of a nice guy and we all had a great time. He posted a really nice and detailed trip report on the BPL forums, linked below. Since there was a lot of hanging going on, I thought it would be nice to share it here too. Tom is also a hammock camper and owns a Hennessy, but he elected this trip to bring along a pad and bivy and go ultralight. We found some really nice hanging spots out there, particularly on the second night at Fish Creek.
