The friday before trout opener we set out for a three day camp on the sturgen river in the green timbers trac of the pigeon river country forest. All went well on the hike in. Then i asked being nice if any one claimed the two big pines in front of the cabin by the river, seeing there was a tentset up on the other side of the tree's and a back pack up against one of the trees.
Their respones was you can't camp there it's not level ground Ijust smiled and said where i'm going I don't need ground! just wanted to share the with you all. The tent on the other side of my setup was the one who made the comment.04231940[1].jpg
Another word of advice would be if any of you camp here bring two extra tree huggers. Massive TREES. Theres all so a cabin open to public first come first serve. Which is nice if it rains.04231803_01[1].jpg
Had three dry days and two dry nights(one day i set my camal back on my hammock and the bite valve got pinched under the bag leading to a wet hammock). Though miner disconvence. Not a big deal with cabin close and a nice fire in fireplace. Fishing on the other hand was so so not many keepers. But **** it i sleep good.
