Did my first real hang this past weekend on the Devil's Path in the Catskills in NY. 3 day, 2 night backback. The first night it rained after I was set up. I stayed dry so I guess I did something right.
Overall my first hang was a success with some lessons learned. The second night was smoother than the first. My routine was easier and I was more prepared for what to do with all my gear when I got to camp, etc. It seemed to knock of a good amount of time off my setup and breakdown times.
I used a HH Zip, Phoenix underquilt, MacCat Deluxe tarp, and guy and ridgeline from whoopieslings.com.
I do have a few questions that I guess I should ask each in their correct respective forums. Overall a good experience with some nuances I know I can improve on.
