Where and how do you transport your stakes? I'm currently using the top lid of my pack for my tent stakes to keep them from puncturing a hammock, tarp, or quilt. I've made a Nacrabiner out of shock cord to keep them together. Is there a better way?

I use a Tyvek bag.

Mine go in my slapstrap bag, all 8 of em and there is still room for tree straps if I don't want to squeeze them in the top of my hammock stuff sack
I carry mine in a Granite Gear stuff sac. One of the smaller ones.
Mine are on the left outside side pocket (tips up in a bag) right next to the Cat shovel and TP.
In a small stuff sack from an old tent, keeps the dirt from the pegs inside.
I believe he was talking about this idea (check attachments)...
