    hmmm...i was thinking...if i cut the hook part off the strap hook..but left the ring attached to the strap...i could then tie my hh rope to it and try the strap thing without having to mod my hammock... if i really liked it i could then do the rope removal thing.....just an idea

    I just used the Bowline to attach the buckles and wrapped the rest of my cord from the HH above it to keep. I like having options. The buckles are easy sleazy!
