Colorado Three Day Weekend

Three weeks from today!! June 25th, 26th, and 27th
Hiking, hanging,fishing in Sangre de Cristo Mountains, south of Westcliff, Co. 14er close by. Meet in Colorado Springs for b'fast and head South. Will be hiking from Music Pass T.H. on Friday morning and return to C/S on Sunday. Carpool ?

Any more details on the type of camp? Will this be backpacking, or setting up a base camp and doing day hikes? Do you have a link to more details about the specific location you have in mind?

I've been wanting to get out and do some fishing anyway, although I left all my gear with family in PA, so might have to do some shopping.

Backpacking in 2+ miles and camping. Day hike or fishing. Stream close by, lakes 1+ mile from camp spot. For this area I use an ultra light spinning outfit and a fly and a bubble. Winds can sometime be a problem for the fly rod. But either will work.

Can't make any solid commitments right now, but MrsMustardman and I are interested, if we can find someone to watch the dogs, and if we can get Friday off work. We might try to hike in on Saturday - if we can't find you, we will still enjoy the woods
