I'm new to the hammock craze, in fact I just completed my on DIY Hammock and stuff sack. But what I'm lacking in knowledge, and I'm so happy to find such a great place to find information, is the suspension options. Right now I have rope/webbing/biners set up. But what I would like to do is have something set up so I could connect the hammock to the tree and then adjust for tension easily. It seemed that when I set up I have to keep adjusting my lengths of rope to get the right tension in the hammock. If you know of an easier way, please shed the light. Thanks.

Here you can see from the whipping is the rope(with knot) tied to the biner and then the straps.

I was thinking about installing some aluminum rings to help with the adjustments. What do you think?
