I've used braided mason line, zing it, and dynaglide. I prefer the dynaglide or the thicker zing it. Opie sells a bonez attached to a thicker zing it and it's my new go-to

I use grey zing-it with a loop on one end and a free sliding toggle, two prussiks from red lash-it with toggles for attatching to my tarp.

Free sliding toggle is a toggle that is fed onto the line and stays at the loop end. I wrap the loop end around the tree and put the toggle into the loop. This just allows for a quick connection to the tree. This is for a tarp ridgeline BTW. I have a 7/64 amsteel whoopie for my hammock ridgeline on my hammock bliss and a red lash-it whoopie for my eno double.
