Im looking for some input from the folks that have purchased the tensioned guy lines from me.
Have any of you actually used the loop on the end without the tensioner?

I haven't used it on my tarp! I have the prussic larksheaded to the d-ring on the tarp, then attach the fixed eye where the tubing is to my stake's ( I have Adia's STL Tarp line's from you attached the same as mine) works great in the rain this way, just tighten up from under the tarp!
I guess it would all depend on how the person has it attached to the tarp, whether they use the sliding prussic to be attached to the stake or not?!
Cranky... That sounds right.. prusik on the D ring.
Im talking about the fixed eye in the end of the line that doesnt have the tensioner.
I've never found a use for the fixed eye opposite the tubing, but I attach the prussic to the stake rather than the D ring
Thanks for the feedback mice.
I have used them without the tensioner. Before I acquired the tubing for some that I made, I used them without the tensioner. I felt like they worked fine but then I was accustomed to using my cat cut tarp without them before I discovered your tensioners. I like the versatility of the prussik loops as opposed to the trucker's hitch I used before.
I just wanted to give ya some kudos Opie. I just got done making 6 guylines and six prussik loops from the zing-it/lash-it group buy. I did locked brummels on the guylines and buried the ends. My fingers are sore and blistered. You gotta have some tough fingers bro! Buy'em from Opie and save yourself some anguish.

Having lots of practice doing the splices develops great technique. Proper splicing tools also help quite a bit. A bent over piece of wire does get tough on the hands and fingers after doing that many buries. (DAMHIKT) 8 guy lines and prussics, a continuous tarp ridge line (x2) and 1 hammock ASR all from the Zing-It/Lash-It group buy
