Ok I will be at the Michigan hang but as a ground dweller with my wife and kids but that one will be in a camp ground. Hopefully Ill be better equipped next summer.
That's too bad Pete, would be cool to see ya again. Check wally world for noseeum netting. Maybe you could make one. I have seen them be just some netting draped over a structural ridgeline and use some rocks tied off along the sides to keep it snug against the sides of the hammock. I was thinking of tryin to make a netting sock. If I do you can be my tester.

I am interested in an Ohio hang. I have a friend just getting into it as well, so it would be two of us if the date is right. I had planned on going to the Northern Hang the weekend of June 18th, but other weekends I should be able to swing it as long as I'm not on call. I am planning on a full week of backpacking July 8th through to the 18th out of state. Depending on the date picked, I will definitely make an effort to attend.

I am going on the MI hang, but if the dates work out; once one is decided upon, I'm in.

I am also interested. My schedule is open any time in July. On a side note, a friend and I are going to backpack the Shawnee trail north loop May 28-30. I have not been there yet but I have read that the north loop is very challenging with constant up and down and almost no switchbacks. Apparently this is also part of the North County Trail (NCT). I just hope it won't be too crowded over the holiday weekend.

a group and myself just got off the shawnee north trail- we stayed at camp #1. unfortunately we only had one night, so couldn't cover the entire trail--but it was generally... brutal. steep ascents and descents are battling--but laying in my wbbb after a day of work made it all worthwhile.
    - have a blast out there man---lots of great hangspots

**it was pretty busy when we were there**

My friend and I will already be at Shawnee starting the previous week (July 8th or 9th), on through the week of the 11th toward the weekend you mention. Depending on how we feel by the weekend, we may still be able to meet up with the group.

I'd love to come if it's not too far on the other side of Ohio! Let me know if you need help.
