Hello from Southern Ontario

Hi everybody! Found my way here from BushcraftUSA. Just recently decided to switch to using a hammock on my backpacking trips. I bought a Clark Jungle Hammock about 10 years ago but never got around to using it on a trip. Just recently picked up an ENO hammock, tarp and bug net before I found out about this place. Hope to learn lots from everyone here.

Mick is right, there is an Ontario Hang planned for the weekend of August 20th - 22nd, 2010 at Bon Echo Provincial Park.

It is great to see the ranks of Ontario Hangers growing all the time.

Nice to see a local. I am still in london for a few months working. I am pretty big into bushcraft, hiking, kayaking and packrafting. Have pant loads of hammocks and underquilts, if you ever want to get together to talk gear, or setups or try out any stuff, we have some pretty radical and unique hammock stuff. Shoot me a PM if you are interested in a local meet and greet.

I have never been camping in Canada, but always wanted to. I have spent a lot of time in Hamilton and Winnipeg, but just never go the chance. Welcome to the forum.
