For me it is calculate, measure, measure again cause it don't look right. calculate again cause I did measure right. measure, measure again cause it still don't look right. calculate again, decide it must be right. Cut, then realize it was the wrong side of the fabric.

You guys must know more than I, because with wood and fabric, I've gotten into a trouble more than once, and no matter how many times I saw or cut, the piece is still too small.

that's why a good carpenter has a 2-4 stretcher in the truck. i just send my helper out to get it
