or do what I did last week and insert a figure nine into my cut support. Not only can I take it out, I can adjust it as well. Cutting the ridgeline on my HH was one of the best (of many) mods that I've made....

OK, OK. I gotta chime in for the females. I'm new to hammocks, but have more experience on the tent side of camping.

I have more tents than purses.
I have more sleeping bags than purses.
I have more stoves than purses.
I have more titanium pots than purses.

Now shoes . . . that's a different story . . . cuz ya gotta throw hiking boots and trail runners and water shoes and cross trainers and croc knockoffs and fishing waders and snow boots and ski boots into the mix! And I'm not saying that there are . . . but maybe, just maybe, there might be several in each category. What's a girl gonna do????

If we had a "Hammock Forums Tip of the Day", this one would go on the list.

I've not touched the ridgeline in my Explore, but next time its out--SNIP--and on goes a figure-9.
