    Knee pillow?

I'm wondering how everyone goes about bending their knees while sleeping?
    Pillows?
    Spare clothes/gear?
    Stuff sack?
    Other ideas?

Also are there any manufactures currently making something to help this problem?

I find I need something but haven't been able to get a solution I'm happy with.

I bend one leg and leave one straight. The ankle from the bent leg goes under the knee of the straight leg to keep it from hyper-extending.

Wow that is so obvious and yet very cleaver, one of those "why didn't I think of that" moments.

I do the same thing. Sometimes I'll ball up a jacket or something and put it under my leg cause my garmit bag is being used as my pillow.

Sleeping diagonal will reduce knee strain greatly. With that said, I use a goose down pillow at home and spare clothes on the trail.

I sleep head left on the diagonal, and find that whatever position my legs end up in, my right hip is always twisted just a bit too far, so I just put a shirt or something under my right knee, and that takes care of that.

Sometimes I throw a jacket under my kness, but usually I don't bother. The jacket under the knees is generally more to elevate them than to eliminate any discomfort issue.
