    Hammock width?

    Just a quick question.
im going to be making hammocks for my family for christmas, and im getting a head start on ordering all the material.
i was planning on ordering the 1.9 ripstop from quest.
i called and she said it was between 58 and 60 inches wide.
so is 58 inches wide enough for a hammock. i know warbonnets traveler is 65.
    thanks in advanced.

Yeah, that's wide enough. Many of the commercial hammocks are only 4' wide. 60" is much better. 2" isn't enough to change much.

Some of these are raw fabric dimensions, some are finished dimensions, but you get the idea. The answer is "yes".

I think this movie is waking up my sensitive inner self! Somebody save me.

Or maybe that chicken salad was a little older than I thought. That could be it.

The antidote to a chic flic is a 6 pack and 2 big bags of jerky.... (otherwise know as the redneck's lunch, supper or breakfast.)

I personally like my hammock narrower then wider. I think 54" is perfect but I think its up to the individual. 58" should be fine..
