I have been waiting for someone here to buy one and report on it.
They hit ebay in waves. I have seen them sell for as little as $18-22 USD.
This was aprox 3 months ago.

    Its interesting. Heavy little brute.

It looks like the Lawson hammock sort of.

Although it is heavy, 4 lbs, the extra vertical room inside looks interesting to me, but I am a newbie with hammocks. ?

For $18-22 I would buy one to try out.

Has anyone tried the Lawson Hammock?

    Their testimonials are interesting.

That looks interesting. I was considering a framed hammock like a helicopter's rescue gurney enclosed in a hoop tent. I seemed like it would exert less strain on the ropes and would provide a flat bed.

Of course, it makes little sense in the US, unless someone comes up with telescoping CF tubes, but in Asian forests, we have an abundance of bamboo.
