Got home around 11:30am, took a shower and Mama Bear, CHG, Bearbait and I all crawled up in the bed and took a longgggg... nap!
I will admit, the Gorge is AMAZING! but it will wear you out!
I had a GREAT time and as always, couldn't have asked for a better group of people. There'll be a bunch of incredible videos & pics to come out from everyone and it's gonna be great!
Thank you so much for spearheading this hang Hawk-eye. My HF Buff off to you, my friend.
See all you Rats at the next one!!

I had a great time over the past few days. It was great meeting new folks and seeing old friends again. The Gorge is my favorite playground, and I hope you all enjoyed seeing a bit of it. See you there again sometime.

had great time thanks everyone
Just got home a few minutes ago! Awesome trip in the Gorge! Good to see all the OG Gorge Rats again, and good to see the new ones. Had a great time, can't wait till next year!
Got home about 6PM after a final hike down into the gorge...I just had to get to that river.... WOW WOW WOW! I kept saying that all weekend. The Big Ditch is an Amazing place. Thanks Hawkeye for being such a good organizer and also for being an informitive guide yesterday, and to all those who helped, I really enjoyed the hike! Good to see the ones again I'd met before and very happy to meet all the new ones....especially you Thing1....Keep practicing with those hiking poles unless you'd rather just spring from rock to rock, you're as graceful as a gazelle!
Pics to come in the trip report forum........
Glad to see you guys made it back safe and sound. I had a great time. Sensory overload! Trips to the river, NC Wall (thanks Ken!), Hawksbill at night and livermush. Hawkeye knows how to throw a hang! Big thanks, dude.
My camera gave out on me way too early. Time for a replacement! Looking forward to seeing everyone's pics and videos.
Now all we have to do is get Running Feather a quiet stove and PF some life insurance.

It's better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Had a great time at LG and meeting everyone. Thanks Hawk-eye for all your effort. I'm still not sure what you do with those chipmunks. I just wish I was able to be in my hammock for a bit to see what Degree angle it was getting up to in the wind with me in it. By the time I got back from helping someone with a problem for a good while two of my stakes had pulled out and my lines were helplessly tangled in the mountain laurel. So I ripped limbs and all and bailed to my truck sometime after 1:30am. Note to self. If Hangin Burrito is going to be there take really long stakes for lines that can't be tied off to trees and that if he mentions degrees for the night it may not be about the temp. Also make sure I have eye drops if hiking behind Running feather. Just a couple of teaser pics to get them started. If you want to move this mods go ahead. Acer must have posted while I was downloading pics
