    My DIY Alcohol Cat Stove

It was a glorious day to do a shakedown of the HANGING STUFF.
Kev and I was able to get to BULL's ISLAND RECREATION AREA in Stockton, NJ.
Along the Delaware and it is nice...Camping is tight and is for tent and trailer....Not hammocks, so much.
Here's my use of the FANCY FEAST CAT STOVE

a few fun filled minutes...But this was a fun filled day with my Son..

Iso doesn't work that well. Use either ethanol or methanol. Pure ethanol may be possible to find (albeit expensive) in liquor stores as pure grain alcohol. Most however use denatured alcohol which is mostly ethanol with some denaturing agents (usually methanol) added to it. Pure methanol can be found as a gasline additiive called HEET (in the yellow bottle).

I love alky burners. I love the quiet while they're cooking. I love the inexpensive and environmentally friendly fuel. I love the lightweight. I love the fact that I'm often eating while others are still fiddling with their stoves trying to get everything just right. Glad that you are enjoying yours. Hope you get a lot of use out of it.
