    Just read this thread and noone touched on your brummel. I would suggest doin a locked brummel( no thread needed) and chuck that stock rope, it's not even tied that secure IMO. I just fed my fixed loop through the channel and larksheaded it just like Opie shows in his tutorial video. I have the ENO double with the same size amsteel you're using. Have fun!
