Newbie To Hanging

Hello everyone. Name is Ron. Im 43 years young.Have been camping since i was a kid. I Metal detect alot. Was on another forum and read about the Hennessy Hammock.Checked it out and got the bug. Ordered one. should be here in a couple of days.Live in Louisiana so it will be alot of deep woods camping at first....No mountains here....look foward to enjoying the hobby a lot more from all ive read and seen on youtube videos.i think i will love hammock hanging.

Welcome to HF! You will find all the hammock information that you ever could want here. Once you get your first nights sleep in a hammock. You will never want to go back to the ground again!

Good to have you here. If you look on the "HF Google Map" on our home page, you can see if there are any other hammockers near you.

WELCOME! I just started with this new hanging obsession, as well! In fact, the larger Camo Hex Fly just arrived from Hennessey (I bought an Expedition Asym), and I can't wait until I have time to set this all up the first time!

This forum is one of the best I am on ... sane, solid information. Amazing dedication to the sport and art of hammocking!

Let us know how things are going once you get set-up, and maybe you can make a group "hang" with some of us someday!

Or maybe we can come there for some spicy cooking!
