    Talking Too opportunistic?

I was always taught that when opportunity knocks, one should certainly answer the door.

Read the following article: http://www.bangordailynews.com/detail/144770.html (Particularly the 8th paragraph)

Now, perhaps we Hammock Forums members should all send Mr. Hays get well soon cards. In the card, we could mention that it would really be great if Jo-Ann's Fabrics carried a larger selection of outdoor fabrics like 1.1 ripstop, silnylon, cuben fiber etc. Possibly even Amsteel Blue, 108" zippers and all the other various accoutrements desired by hammock DIYers.

But seriously, its a possibly tragic story that ended up with a happy ending. It speaks volumes for this man's fortitude, strength and will to survive that he not only survived 3 days on Katahdin but managed to get himself down with a busted knee. Here's prayin' for a speedy recovery for Mr. Hays.

The two [hikers] work at the headquarters of Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores in Ohio.
It doesn't say what positions Rich Hohman and Michael Hays have at the company.

Why not contact the CEO, Darrell Webb?

If I were the CEO, and this kind of thing was typical of my day, then I would appreciate learning from a customer about two guys on my staff who could help me develop products for new markets.

CEO and COB can make decisions about new products...just sayin'
