Introducing: The Stateless Society --- Custom Top Quilts

Thanks everyone for all the complements and well wishes.

I'm currently looking at 3-4 weeks for delivery on any new quilts, but will still take orders, first come first serve, for anybody that's interested in one.

If you're interested in a custom quilt, please contact me directly via email or pm, with your specs, and I'll get you a price specific to the quilt.. I'm not going to try and offer any models or baseline prices right now, as I'm willing to accommodate so much variation and customizing.

Working on a number of UL quilts in 0.9oz fabric, and will post some more pics as they are finished.

Still have some of the downproof camo if any of you stealthy guys are interested.

    Thank you!

    Downproof 1.1 Camo

Also got a few yards of the Downproof 1.1 lightly coated Camo fabric that Scott at BWDD is offering en route.

Enough to make a couple of quilts in Camo if anybody is interested, same price as standard 1.1.

They are nice looking quilts JD. I am someone who really likes to clone gear. I think it is a compliment to do so and cloning the Jacks no sniv was one of my first projects. However I don't offer these for sale even in a secondary used market. It is someone elses idea and I don't want to capitalize on it. I hope you take this as repectfully as I mean it. I think your product is a little too close to the Jacks right down to the omnitape and headhole. The no sniv is an icon as far as I am concerned. You are just a slightly tapered footbox away form being a duplicate. I don't know of any patents and nobodies sales are worth fighting in court. But out of respect to the Jacks I think the headhole should be off limits. Again I mean that respectfully and look forward to new innovations that you may come up with.

Dutch, that sounds pretty fair to me. Although growing up in latin america, I can tell you it's an ancient design.

    Consider the Serape option removed.

Don't want to step on anybody toes.

    Thanks for the feedback!

I also want to make it clear that any quilt can be ordered with a zippered footbox for the same price if that's preferred, I just like omnitape better. The idea is totally customized equipment.. I have no model.

I'll make it octagon shaped if you can convince me it wont be useless. Or get you a custom low-rider paint job. :P

Beyond that, I'd like to state that the quilt concept is in by no means original to any current (or otherwise) cottage manufacturer. I wouldn't think it fair to to imply that I'm trying to knock off anybody's kit.

The quilts look great. It's good to have yet another supplier. Best wishes with your new endeavor.

Re-evaluated shipping costs, and there's no shipping fee for CONUS.

Updated the first post to reflect that.
