I've been using this site as a resource for about a year, and decided that I should really join and support the noble cause of just "hanging out".
I found the site through youtube of all places when watching the primer to hammock suspension videos, which inspired me to change to a single line suspension and begin to experiment with the various methods of rigging such a system, that in turn led me to Jeffs website and research into structural ridge lines.
I'm now starting to get into the whole DIY thing, and my current projects are a Mirage style bugnet and Nacrabiners.
I love the whole mentallity of the hammocking world, from disturbing the environment as little as possible to the whole world of engineering and knots.
This site really is a Mecca of information for those who like to "dangle"
