Hanging in less than 5 minutes

The Speer IIIA came today. I had the package opened, the hammock set up (my first time ever), and was in it in less than 5 minutes. Too warm today to put the Peapod on, but will be taking it with me to Maine tomorrow. Feels GREAT.

Looks great!! Enjoy! Let me know how you like the peapod. I'm thinking about either that or the new speer underquilt.

Like the green. You'll never regret switching to a hammock. Congrats.

Green? I'm seeing brown unless I just went colorblind.
    Enjoy your trip Quoddy.

that would be mass color-blindness, 'cause that looks brown to me too. I know that material, Ed has sold me a bunch of yards of it! (But as I recall it didn't look brown under indoor lighting at first, more of a, well, green....)

Question for Speer hammock users...the bugnet shown in the picture here, does it attach to the hammock body? By velcro?

and Quoddy...it takes me 5 minutes just to get all my lines untangled when I'm putting up my DIY bridge hammock. Longer, usually.

Yes, Speer uses hook and loop for the bugnet.

    Grizz
When I saw the color question, both my wife and I looked at it in the sunlight and both said, "It's green... no it's brown... no it's a greeney brown". The bag it came in is slightly more brown, but the hammock itself is really close to being right between the two colors.

BTW... I fell asleep about a minute after the photo.

I believe the color to be olive.

Beyond that, congrats on the quick hang.
