bottom entry hammocks and hammock stands?

    Hi there,
just wondering if anyone uses a bottom entry hammock with one of the universal hammock stands that are available. Is it possible or are the stands for top loading hammocks only?
    Thanks
    Andre

    Should be no problem

I use an arc hammock stand at home in the bedroom....and I use it with a Hennessey Backpacker Asym with no problems.
I can't use it with a Warbonnet or my bridge hammocks

I think the 2QZQ mod is in order. That would simplify things.

I have in the past hung my HH explorer UL from my DIY hammock stand. It works fine.

I've done it in the past too. Had to crawl in and out though. It's possible, and most likely somewhat humorous to see.

That is a sweet hammock stand. Where did you get that? Also, has anyone here replaced their traditional bed with a hammock? I am thinking about it, as it would take up WAYYYYY less space in my tiny apartment.

lol i think my wife would look at me funny if she came home one day to find two hammocks in the bedroom instead of our bed. but that would be a great way to keep the kids out of our bed. lol

I slept full time in a hammock for a variety of reasons. I have since gone back to the bed. Again, for a variety of reasons.

    Care to expound on that?
... are we looking at comfort/health reasons or something like 'marriage reasons'?
