    Tarp guylines?

going to make some guys with 1.75 Zing-It.

just wondering what the measurements are.

how big is the fixed eye loop?
how long is the bury for the fixed eye?

opie - i see you're not putting the second fixed eye on the opposite end now. are you doing a backsplice on the oppoisite end instead?

I am no expert! I made my guy lines 15 feet long (after the splicing). Both ends have a eye slice with a 2 inch eyes and a 8 inch bury. I have used them quite a bit in various wind conditions. I have not had a problem with them. If they are made to the proper specifications, I could not tell you. I just know that they work.

Storm, yes on the backsplice on the other end.

2" fixed eye with a locked brummel and a 2" bury. You can get away with a 1" bury, I use 2 because its easier for me to get ahold of when Im making 10-20 a night.
