Slickrock can be a dangerous ford at times. In my BMT Guidebook I suggest people hiking through during rainy weather carry enough extra food in case they get stuck there waiting for the water to ebb.

Looks like we'll get a few boomers this weekend.
The clouds and cooler water should make the brown trout more active.
Looks like Mediceman and I will need to get down into the lower section early enough not to get caught on the ridge when they do kick in.

Practice session but what is it?
Spent 5 minutes on the dock then got in the water....5 minutes to learn where to put the lure...worked the dock for nothing, then aimed at the rhododendron casting a shadow on the edge of he lake. I bet a mountainous stream is much harder but on ripshin lake it is too easy but I don't know what kind of fish it is ?????
That's a fine looking Blue Gill you caught there, MedicineMan!
