I'm a college student trying to inexpensively try out hammock camping and am looking for a decent basic lightweight tarp suitable for backpacking. The Guide Gear and smaller Chinook tarps seem to be perpetually out of stock or I'd spring for one of those.

I have an HH exped tarp, not sure if that fits your needs or not. It's never been used or unrolled. PM me if interested.
I have a Guide gear tarp and have used it about three times, once in the rain and last weekend it leaked on me during the Northern hang. I would advise finding something else.
