    Hey Everyone!

I joined a great group of (all) guys for my first Northern Hang. It was such a blast! I was the only girl on this trip, so I felt a bit out of place, but its alright...I am used to hanging with a bunch of guys. I really enjoyed the hike with everyone and can't wait until the next planned "hang".

Thanks guys for such a great hang & hike!

    History behind my nickname...

I started geocaching about 3 years ago in May. I was introduced to geocaching from a friend that is part of a hiking group that I belong to and it has been an enjoyable hobby since it was introduced into my world!

For those who have no clue what geocaching is...
It is a game that everyone can play. It does not matter what age you are, how many people that are involved, or how knowledgeable you are at finding stuff. You just have to be willing to learn how to find treasures in the woods.

First, you will need to have a hand held GPS system and then go to www.geocaching.com to download all the treasures you would like to find. Find a few friends, which will make it more fun! Preferably someone who is experienced at finding geocaches (not really necessary, but it would help when finding the treasures for the first time).
Second, gather all your buddies (or friends) and search for the geocaches.
Lastly, after you find many geocaches you will become more experienced at finding the "hard-to-find" ones!

There are many sizes and variations to geocaches. Here are a few examples: micros, small, medium, large, unknown sizes, earth caches, virtual caches, and multi caches (these have two or more in a series to find).

Geocaching is a great family or group event. It is very addicting and you can find geocaches all over the world! I have found over 200+ and many more to add on to that number after today.

So, there's the history behind my name!

I'm still caching every now and again. I was one of the earlier to hide and seek here in Mn. Lovely Centris, Queen of the Travel Bugs made this for me:

I don't log finds any more, but still poke around.

    Welcome!
