By my count, it would appear that Shug is at the top of the list for this years coveted "Golden Hammock Award".

From the Gulf Coast of Alabama...welcome to the forum.

Well hat's off to Shug again! I had the same experience,i.e. found Shug's interesting Youtube video's and I was hooked! Thank-you Shug.

I am not a small guy either, i.e. 6'-3"@285. I currently have a Clark North American BEFORE they made it larger..$^%*&^!! It fit's o.k., but I think I am going to sell it when I get around to it. I just got a WBBB in the double layer 1.7oz material. Hope to try it out in the backyard as soon as it get's cool enough that I can take it. It's been in the upper 80's - 90's with high humidity in Madison, WI for the last week. So I have to admit I am staying in cool air conditioning until it get's cooler. I am a cold weather guy and usually camp in the Fall and Winter using a Kifaru tarp and a wood burning stove to keep warm. So looking forward to working on the hammock skills.

Yah... i blame shug on my addiction... youtube vids pointed me here, and I've found a TON of help/advice. I can quit at any time. really, i can. ...

My wife and I got a ENO doublenest for our wedding... it is rated to 400lbs. I've always felt very comfortable in it. I don't have anything to compare it to, but I have zero regrets about getting this!

Added bonus: You can try it out and if it doesn't work out for you, just return it to REI for a refund.

I'm one of the folks proud to say that Shug pointed me toward this forum, and helped confirm for me that my hammock habit isn't eccentric, there's a lot of us hanging in the piney woods!
