CLOSED: ENO Hammocks on Super Sale at REI!

So I just went on to the REI website to see what they had on sale, hoping they had a 20% off one item so that I could get an ENO Doublenest for day hikes and just chilling in the yard.

No need!! Turns out they are part of the sale, and more than 20% off!

    ENO Doublenest - $49
    ENO Singlenest - $41

Needless to say, I know where I am headed directly after work tomorrow.

    I just ordered one

I just noticed it too. My REI doesn't have a big selection and they don't carry the Slap Strap pros in store so I ordered a navy/forest doublenest and a set of slapstrap pro straps. I applied my left over dividend and clicked the ship to store shipping option for free. I got the hammock and straps for only 50 bucks, Whooooo Hooooo !

i have this -- ditch the heavy metal clips and attach directly to the lines at the end of the hammock. I swear it dropped at least 30% of its weight (if not more!).... dang those clips are *heavy*

Did I need another hammock? No.

Did I get another hammock? Yes.

ENO Doublenest, just to see what all the fuss was about. It's in my bedroom right now and my wife is gonna try it out tonight. It was decently comfortable on my first little test lay, but had quite a bit of static here in CO.

Ahem...and since I was there for the ENO I went ahead and got the TR neoair I've been thinking about. I wanted the medium (66" long) but all they had was regular and large, so I got the regular (72"). 14 oz isn't bad for full-length coverage if it gets me to 20F or so...we'll see. I like that it rolls up to as small as a 1L Nalgene.

    Eno Slapstraps Pro at REI

REI has both the regular (original, heavier, shorter) Slapstraps and also the better (IMHO) Slapstraps Pro on sale (Pro is longer for wider diameter trees,
& lighter--8 oz for Pro vs 12 oz for the Original). Pro is like $18, Original like $16, so definitely look at the PRO.
I just ordered one online; they're out, so it's on backorder and will ship whenever they receive it, sale price locked in, wahoo.

Thanks Jarod I figured I could get away with it to start off with I had an uncomfortable sleep in the woods friday night so getting of the ground is looking more appealing everyday
