welcome to hanging, but i want to warn you, the slap straps will stretch, since they are made out of nylon! you will love the hammock tho.

Thanks, I was aware they would stretch took that into account.. I personally like my hammock to sag almost to the ground, but that's just me.
Welcome to the Eno world.
There are some good threads here on changes that you can make to your ENO so if and when you get tired of your rig you can make some small changes to both upgrade it and lose some weight.
Some of my freight hopping adventures on film over at my YouTube Channel... Oh and there is other stuff there as well!
Cheers guys. For me personally, the singlenest is fine. Weight is not really an issue as I can take everything I need for camping on my motorcycle, I needn't streamline anymore than that. I slept in it last night. It was great. I was surprised at how roomy it actually is, aside for being a single, it's quite spacious. I'm gonna be sleeping like a baby this summer.
Just to reiterate, these straps stretch a lot. I would hang my SN high enough that I had to kinda scoot up to get in it. By morning, I would be maybe a foot of the ground. Also, I have the Guardian, but have yet to use it on an actual camping trip. I find it to be too bulky and heavy in my pack. And too much trouble to set up when car camping. Just my .02. Can't complain at all about the hammock. Very comfortable. I keep mine in my truck for those emergency snooze situations. It has served me well on many trips, but alas it has competition from my BB and Switchback, now.

I've used the straps for the last few nights and aside from the first night, after readjusting they haven't stretched anymore. It has held the height it's been at now for a few days. I don't mind readjusting it, maybe i'll switch to whoopies soon.
ENO Singlenest was my first long term hammock I used indoors. I volunteered it and sent it off to Iraq to hang between a couple of tank cannons. Great hammock and very comfortable. I have a couple of them these days and do still take them out in favor of the doubles. Sometimes it just feels right.
Congrats on your new toy. Has anybody told you that the Strap Slaps stretch?
Trust nobody!
As they went down further last night... The Slapstraps stretch? Really?? Interesting.. I think I'll be changing suspension just cause I don't wanna have to always worry if I'm hanging it high enough to compensate for stretch.. That does get rather annoying..
