    Yes you are on it. I never much liked the SS pads. Seems like a good idea in theory but in practice it just never did anything for me well.

    Nice stand...

    I'm just glad I have good trees in the yard... I have several places I can set up with tree spacings from 15' to 25'. All with nice soft grass underneath....Great for testing things.

    I have no clue what it weighs - but it a two man lift.

    I started thinking I could make about 10 of these and rent them out at Trail Days to vendors at $10 a day. Save them carting all those stands from all over the US and give them a nice display.

    If it's a two-man lift, why not put some kind of wheel on one end? That way it wouldn't have to be lifted completely, it could just be rolled along.
