Black Diamond total weight--------56 grams for 2
Dutch clips total weight-----------24 grams for 2

    Black diamond price---------------$17 for 2
Dutch clips price -----------------$12 for 2

Dutch clips take up less space and stay on you webbing strap.

If you use a rubber band and secure one on each side of your head it minimizes the voices in your head, when you're in the woods

my WB Carabiners are 1.6oz/pair, 10$/pair and will stay on my webbing. The dutch clip is hooked to the webbing and wont stay with the webbing when the hammock is untied.. so lets say my platypus is filled with red wine, and I pack my hammock in a hurry.. i can loose a dutch clip in the woods, cant loose my carabiners. I still love the Dutch clips concept either way!

OH NOOOOO .... clipped in the loop and a couple of hand stitches snugged up against it and the DC is as secure as can be ... works perfectly!

I've attached my Dutch Clips to the loop side of my webbing with small pieces of paracord so they can't go anywhere, they stay in the loops. No worrying about losing them. Works great for me.
