WBBB XLC in it's native habitat. Old Sand dunes and magic Spruce forest.

The goal was some winter camping with snow but the weather suddenly changed. Rising temperatures and a lot of rain took care of the little snow there was. After some planning I decided to go to a nearby old lake /sand dune area that is covered with Pine and Spruce trees. After a few hours I found a nice place to hang and watch Deer (two of them was all white) feed on some birch trees.

Can't really understand why I never have visit the place before. It's almost right on my door stepp. Next time I will bring a real camera and take some pictures of the white deer and
wild boar that was running around.

All in all. It was a nice trip and I will visit the place a lot more in the future.

Thanks! The plan was winter and snow..but.. It was a really nice weekend. The white Deer was nice to watch. I know that we have a few of them around but it was long ago I saw them in the wild.

Great pics and nice looking place to visit. I hope you don't mind I'm now using one of your pics from another thread as the background on my phone. You have a great eye for capturing hammocks and the forest.

Will do Burped. I'll say it is my HF friend Biped from Sweden. My wife is the only one that asked so far and that's what I told her

Beautiful spot. Would love to see it covered in snow. Next time!
I would rather be in the woods... my dog would rather be in the pool. My wife thinks we are both nuts.
