1 suggestion- you might want to try a 'larkshead' (lark's head) knot from the hammock to the 2 rings- then if you ever change your suspension technique, you won't have to disassemble the support lines, just release the knot..

@ Kermegan. My son likes to carry around the stuff sack and hammock and say, "This is mine". I asked him if he's like to have one. He said yes, along with my wife. Plus my fabric just arrived for my tarp / rain fly. Looks like I have lots of sewing ahead of me.
That's a good idea on the larks head. I see why people use a gathered end or a whipped end hammock. The things you learn as you go.
