    Attaching Underquilt

    Hi Folks!

I have a borrowed UQ (JRB, I believe). I understand from its real owner that there are supposed to be some little hook-like gizmos to attach it to my hammock. The owner is aware, but they are not there.

Does anyone have some close-up photos of these parts and maybe some brief directions for attaching to an HH Desert Rat?

Blackbishop may have some pics on his site, too.

Here are my pics of the early versions...not sure how close it'll be to the one you have.

If I understand you, you are missing a way to suspend the UQ under your hammock? I think you can get two small pieces of cord and tie prusik knot loops on each end of your suspension line closest to your hammock, then hang your KAQ from the loops. And then adjust as necessary.

Is this what you're looking for?

HMMM that may be whats missing... Ive looked at the photos posted earlier and I think the cordage for the knot is what I need.

What cording should I use for this?
