At a farm and ranch store called Atwoods...I can help you with this, if you can't find them where you live.

I can vouch for the Arrowhead buckle sets. They're awesome, weigh nothing, and - even better - don't require a half-hitch on the back end. I bought mine with the amsteel sling and I'm loving it.

Turns out I got it the way it was supposed to be according to Brandon, not sure why he ditched the tri buckles in place for regular tri rings you have to tie the amsteel off too, which kinda sucks because once you get a knot tight enough for the amsteel to hold it it's so freaking hard to get out.....running webbing through a buckle system is soooooo much easier.

I know what I did....they changed their suspension options from last time I checked them (close to a year, year and a half ago) and I saw tree straps and automatically thought thats what I needed without looking at the other option. I hear everyone is raving about those whoopie slings though, perhaps I'll have to check them out.

I may follow up with you to get some. I browsed their on-line sale pages and saw 27' x 2" straps for $10, but not anything in 1.25". I also noticed that they have all straw hats 20% off. Might be time to pick up another Stetson...

Well after doing my first hang I might just stick with the rope and strap suspension. A slipped buntline really isn't a hard knot to do at all, I was expecting something like the complicated HH knot. And heck I save a couple of ounces too by grabbing that suspension.
