    WBBB Tri-rings

    Hi,
Got my WBBB this spring. Two Tri-rings per webbing strap. Contact Ken . Brandon. Seems like a simple fix, though a frustration. Love my WBBB, Yeti UQ & just ordered BM TQfrom him today. Can't wait.

Mine has 2 per strap. I had the old style tri-rings and a weld broke But, Brandon sent me a pair of the new machined ones right away He is closing his shop for a short time so if I were you I'd contact him in a hurry!

Did the webbing suspension change again? My first BB had the 1 1/2" cinch buckles. Are the new ones shipping with a double ring setup now?

It has changed. Brandon is now getting custom made buckles which are now only 1 inch, so they fit the 1 inch webbing much better than the old 1.5 inch buckles did. They also seem to work much better than the old ones, as in that they don't really need a backup knot as much, since they don't slip as often as the older style did. I only have the newer style but this is what I have heard from other people on the forum.

The last photo in this thread shows a photo of the new buckles.

You can get those buckles from Paul at Arrowhead Equipment too ... I've got a couple sets ... the really do lock down well. Weigh nearly nothing! Paul sells them as plates only or with the sling.

I can vouch for the Arrowhead buckle sets. They're awesome, weigh nothing, and - even better - don't require a half-hitch on the back end. I bought mine with the amsteel sling and I'm loving it.

They were actually for 1.25" webbing, which is very hard to find. I ended up buying ratchet straps with the correct webbing...the buckles are a very different beast when used with the webbing they were designed for.

OG: Where did you find 1.25" ratchet straps? I spent some time looking for them but was unable to find anything but 1" and 2" straps.

At a farm and ranch store called Atwoods...I can help you with this, if you can't find them where you live.
