    MMG Swinging Hammock Chair

Dirk suggested a swinging hammock chair, and he is working on it just now... but I liked the idea and made a Molly Mac Gear Swinging Hammock Chair. It is supposed to be something that you keep handy while hiking, so you can hang it quickly and take a break while sitting comfortably, without even needing to remove your Molly Mac Pack.

This chair is simple to make. It uses 1/4" CCF and weighs 5 oz. I might make another one without the CCF pad, which weighs over 1 oz by itself.

    Nice Chair! Nice spectacles!

I gave my chair to Nooner last fall. I need to make another.

    Thanks, Mac-Entyre!

That's a cool idea and execution.

I could see this being pretty fun especially if you have kids. Make them their own swing set in the woods.

Just what we need - a swingin' potty on the trail.

Still, something like that may encourage my wife to do a bit of primitive camping that she might not otherwise do. She's not one of the types that considers staying in a hotel to be "camping", but she does appreciate "proper facilities".

I had a serious inquiry for such a potty about eight months ago. He said his wife would love it, and he thought it would be a great success!

    Who knows?
