I made reservations today for the Springfield area of Fairfield. It's going to be just me and wife Patti, but reserved for 2 cars/6 people in case of overcrowding we can share.

For those (like me) who didn't know, you can make reservations for Tx. State Parks online at: https://texas.reserveworld.com/

I hope we can do some cooking . . .

Thanks for the link!!! I reserved a site in the Springfield area as well. I did this just as a precaution. I'm still unsure if my pup will be coming along with me or not. That being the case I will have a tent or possibly even two setup (one for pup and gear, the other in case momma dislikes her hammock I got her). I don't like being the person to crowd or cause a disturbance so I figured this would just be easiest.

Now I just need to get off my butt and get to work on the thread injector and get me a few quick home-made UQ/TQ made up. To be honest I think I may take a decent little mummy bag I have and try to make a pea-pod type setup for her with it!

I am planning to show up for friday and saturday night. Is it too late to show up at your reserved spots or should I reserve a campsite myself? If anyone needs a ride from the Fort Worth area, I might be able to help you out.

No worries. A couple of us will go out as an advance team to get the sites and will either post or leave instructions at the entrance gate so that we'll be easy to find.

Are you getting there on the 11th? I plan on being there that day. What time are you planning on being there? I think a good question to ask is how much will this cost each of us individually for reservations and 4 days and such?
