    WTB: Possum Down Gloves

So I don't have a credit card, and you can't Paypal through Backpackinglight.com, so if there is a pair of unwanted possumdown gloves out there somewhere, I'm willing to take them off your hands! No pun intended.

Also, if someone is willing enough to purchase a pair for me, and then I can pay them back using paypal, that would be kinda sweet. Anybody willing?! I'm a very trustworthy guy!

New Zeland Nature seems to be actually less expensive than BPL and they take PayPal. Delivery may be a bit slow (it is shipping from New Zealand after all!).

I've haven't used them before; but I'm looking at getting some gloves and socks from them before the next cold season arrives.

Try FromNZ.com - they have some on sale for $13.50 NZ (about $10 US).

Great gloves... But be aware that they wear faster than regular wool.

    Pan

PS... PD beanies are generally warmer and lighter than regular wool and hold up better than the PD gloves, as they are not subject to the constant finger and hand manipulations.

Hey thanks for all the great ideas! I don't necessarily need them fast, I just want to obtain them sometime in the not-to-distant future. And Shug, I watched your winter clothing video and love your ideas for cold weather hammock camping. I'm looking for a pair of the wrist warmers with the open palm too, the ones that fit over your index and pinky fingers.

I tried making wristies by cutting the toes and heels off of old rag wool socks - they're great. (Thanks to whoever posted that idea on HF.) You could use that as a starting point and add finger loops yourself, but I like them as is.
