Thanks! Found trail map here from that link. If you scroll down you can see a small map with all the roads leading into the 3 entrances into Dolly Sods.

I'm interested but will need to wait to decide. It's a 6+ hours drive so maybe I can convince someone to go with me.
As far as my "comments":
+ Great looking area, nice trails and views. Looks like nice trees for hanging are available.
+ Like the "few human influences" factor and the low # of visitors per year (unless they all visit the weekend of the planned hike...). Only question is about the UneXploded Ordinances - are they really a worry or are they a non-issue by this point? Are they even in the area you are proposing?
+ Nice to have a lot of options with trails.

DIRECTIONS:
Here is a link to a Google map with Bear Rocks marked as the destination. Bear Rocks is the overlook at Dolly Sods. If you come in south of bear rocks you should pass Red Creek Camp ground on your way. Parking and the trail head will be just past the camp ground. If you come in from the Bear Rocks end of FR75 you will need to continue on FR75 until you come to Red Creek Camp ground. Parking and the trail head will be just before the camp ground.
