    Hello all!

After weeks of reading, I had to join and say "Hi". I'm getting back into backpacking after a long hiatus. Looking into a hammock instead of a tent because EVERYONE says it is so much more comfortable. I started looking at it because of size and weight issues, but comfort really is important. I know I'll have a few questions, but just reading the different posts have answered a lot of them. Gotta say, some great videos on here (Shug, I think your crazy and that's the only way to live!). Alright, enough for now, but I'm sure you'll be hearing from me. Keep Hanging!

    Welcome to HF!

There's a wealth of info here, and if you can't find it, ask. Of course, you may get many different answers...

Part of the fun of hammocking is figuring out what works for you.

    Enjoy the adventure!

    Welcome to the forum!

Shug's & Grizz's video sets are the encyclopedia for hammocking. Great fun, and informative as well. As background material, also watch "Slingblade" again.

Welcome. I am fairly new to hammocking and the only problem I've had is, everytime I get into my hammock I fall asleep.
If it weren't for physics and law enforcement, I'd be unstoppable.
